Private Roatan Cayos Cochinos Tours!
Cayos Cochinos are located between Roatan and the mainland of Honduras. Coming from Roatan, you will be heading South for about an hour if it is calm enough.
As you will be crossing open sea, this trip must be carefully planned as weather can change in the region very quickly.
Once you get there, you will have Big Cochino to your left and Little Cochino to your right. We will be heading to Little Cochino first to register at the marine park office and pay the entrance fee of currently $24 per visitor which is not included in price.
Then we will be doing some diving/snorkeling around one of the many keys before we go on Chachauate to have lunch. Chachauate is a Garifuna island populated all year round.
On our way out, we will do another dive/snorkel around Pelican Point before we head back to Roatan.
Many times you get lucky seeing a pod of dolphins on your way back to the island. If weather allows and you decide to fish on the way back, often tuna, barracuda or wahoo bite. We will prepare the fish for you and even come and cook it for you, a wonderful way to end your Cayos Cochinos tour!
